Destiny Brown

Community organizer, Advocates for Basic Legal Equality (ABLE)

Destiny Brown serves as community organizer for Advocates for Basic Legal Equality (ABLE) based in Dayton and is a 2024 Kettering Foundation Dayton Democracy Fellow. Brown spent nearly a decade in a number of different community spaces in and around Columbus, working on city and county-level programs designed to create equity in underserved populations and as a community advocate and health worker serving low-income and homeless populations. Brown is a certified community health worker, doula, and mother.
