Dee Wooding
President and founder, Westwood Right Project, CDC
Dee Wooding is the president and founder of the Westwood Right Project, a Westwood neighborhood champion, community organizer, and a 2024 Kettering Foundation Dayton Democracy Fellow. She was born and raised in the Westwood neighborhood of Dayton, Ohio, and is a community leader who believes in the power of people to make a difference. Additionally, Wooding has been a nonprofit organization development principal consultant for more than twenty years. Wooding earned her bachelor’s degree in human resources and organizational development from the University of Cincinnati. She has a passion for learning and has developed many leadership skills from several organizations such as the United Way, Junior League, The Grantmanship Center, Dr. Jenny Laster Community Engagement Academy, Ohio CDC, Center for Community Progress, and the State of Ohio.
