Jasmine Henderson

Director of Advocacy, Equity, and Community, The Good Hood Foundation; Founder, Blue Lotus Social Justice & Consulting

Jasmine Henderson is a political strategist, movement builder, and cultural educator with over a decade of experience at the intersection of grassroots organizing, public policy, and relational community building in the realms of reproductive, environmental, and economic justice. She is also a Kettering Foundation 2026 Dayton Democracy Fellow. A Dayton native and graduate of the University of Dayton, she has completed fellowships and certifications related to movement building and organizing. Henderson began her political work in electoral politics and has since led efforts with organizations such as the Women’s March, the Center for Popular Democracy, and the Ohio Organizing Collaborative. She served as director of policy and social impact at the Ohio Women’s Alliance, advancing statewide agendas rooted in Black maternal health and community safety. Currently, she serves as the director of advocacy, equity, and community at The Good Hood Foundation and as the founder of Blue Lotus Social Justice & Consulting, where she curates political education, strategic campaigns, and cultural healing rooted in memory and emotional intelligence.
