Taylor Johnson
Executive director, Spectrum New Beginnings
Since she was 19 years old, Taylor Johnson has been on a mission to empower underresourced community members by increasing access to restorative practices. She is the executive director of Spectrum New Beginnings and a 2024 Kettering Foundation Dayton Democracy Fellow. A faith-based holistic-healing practitioner, workforce wellness consultant, entrepreneur, and community activist, Johnson teaches from the philosophy that we cannot pour from empty cups. Johnson is graduating in May 2024 with a BS in Psychology from Ohio University and will begin an MBA with a concentration in management, innovation, and change in fall 2024. She currently serves on the Health Equity Activation Think Tank at the University of Dayton Fitz Center for Leadership in Community and on the Women in Business Networking advisory board. She is also the lead mentor for Evolve Women of Color, an international empowerment group for professional women of color.
