
Kate Schneider
Event Manager
Kate Schneider is the event manager for the Kettering Foundation, where she oversees all aspects of meetings and events—from contracting through execution. She collaborates with key foundation staff to ensure that each gathering reflects the foundation’s mission and operates with seamless logistics and thoughtful coordination.
With more than 25 years of experience in event planning and logistics, Schneider has managed both domestic and international events across sectors. Her background also includes process improvement and project management. An engaged community leader, she has served on several local boards, including Vandalia Youth Theater and the Miami Valley Down Syndrome Association. She currently serves as board president for the Dayton Dance Conservatory Company and is the owner and executive director of the Dayton Dance Conservatory, both based in Huber Heights.
Schneider holds a BA in communication studies from Wright State University and has Six Sigma Green and Yellow Belt certifications. A proud Ohio sports fan, she enjoys cheering on the Buckeyes and Browns, hosting music bingo, and spending time singing and dancing. She lives in Vandalia, Ohio, with her husband, Bo, and their two children, Madi and Brady.
