Mark Garey is a facilities maintenance technician who maintains the foundation’s day-to-day facilities operations. He makes sure all systems are running smoothly, monitors for corrective and preventive maintenance, and oversees work with contractors on projects throughout the foundation’s campus.

Before joining Kettering, Garey proudly served in the United States Marine Corps, where he honed his leadership skills and retired as a maintenance chief. Throughout his years of service, he advised many different Commands, oversaw training, and supervised daily activities of personnel in multiple sections.

Garey has earned numerous diplomas and certifications in the maintenance, engineering, environmental, HVAC, and construction fields throughout his career.
