Mindy LaBreck is vice president for people and culture at the Charles F. Kettering Foundation, where she has served for over 20 years. She leads the foundation’s strategic efforts to align people, culture, and operations in support of its mission to advance inclusive democracy. Her work includes organizational development and HR leadership, including the oversight, development, and implementation of organizational policies, as well as the oversight of people operations and IT services.

LaBreck is a SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) and is known for her thoughtful, mission-driven leadership style that emphasizes equity, collaboration, and long-term organizational resilience.

She holds a BA in humanities, an MA in management from Antioch University, and a graduate certificate in employment law from the Cornell University School of Industrial and Labor Relations.
