Rhyann Green :  Communications Assistant

Rhyann Green is the communications assistant for the Kettering Foundation. In this role, she lends her organizational skills to support the communications team and its director and ensure that everything runs smoothly across various projects.

Prior to joining Kettering, Green interned at Rural Action’s Appalachian Staple Foods Collaborative, where she provided administrative support, authored policy articles, and curated resources for newsletter readers.

Green previously worked as a newsroom assistant for WOUB Public Media at Ohio University and contributed to various programs, including Newswatch, News@Noon and The OUtlet. In her final year at OU, she also served as a writer and layout designer for Southeast Ohio magazine.

Green graduated from Ohio University in 2022 with a BS in journalism news and information and a minor in political science. Her academic journey and diverse experiences have developed her passion for inclusive democracy and deepened her appreciation for the vital role that communication and media play in shaping democracy.
